Angela Buck (Denver, CO) is currently a Ph.D. candidate in creative writing at the University of Denver. Her stories have appeared in Western Humanities Review and Mid-American Review.

I love small things: snow globes, dioramas, dolls and dollhouses, toys and trinkets, fairy tales and folk tales, jokes and riddles. I try to write from the inspiration of the miniature. To quote a big writer writing about small things: “A work of art is an abstract or epitome of the world. It is the result or expression of nature, in miniature.” (Emerson)
