Indigo Ink Press, Inc. has received a $6,000 Special Project Grant from ArtsinStark, The County Arts Council.
The grant funds will be used for the publisher’s launch title, Stark ARThology, the first art anthology to feature the work of Stark County artists.
“The grant from ArtsinStark is essential for launching our first title, Stark ARThology,” said Jessica Bennett, executive director for Indigo Ink Press. “We wouldn’t be able to get started with Indigo Ink without their generous support.”
A total of 63 grants and $141,000 were awarded by ArtsinStark. These Special Project Grants are part of the more than $1.1 million in grants the County Arts Council will give out to more than 100 Stark County non-profit organizations and artists.
“We are delighted in these challenging times,” said ArtsinStark Board Chair Bob Timken, “that we can continue our commitment to keeping the arts here growing and strong.”
